The falls sit on the border, and both countries sell helicopter flights over them. From the air the difference is almost nothing — the circuit crosses both sides anyway. On the ground the difference is a border post, a visa and most of a morning.

What actually differs
The air is the same. The morning is not.
From the air: almost nothing. Every circuit here crosses the river. The pilot flies the curtain twice, once each way, and the falls are the same object from both. Anyone telling you one country has the better aerial view is selling something.
On the ground: quite a lot. Zimbabwe faces about two thirds of the falls from its viewpoints; Zambia faces the eastern third and gets closer to the lip. If you are walking the viewpoints as well as flying, that matters — but it is a separate decision.
Devil’s Pool is Zambian. The rock basin on the very edge is reached from Livingstone Island, on the Zambian side, and only when the river is low enough. No Zimbabwean listing can include it.
The border costs a morning. Passport control both ways, a visa, and a transfer at each end. For a flight that lasts twelve minutes, that is the whole calculation.
